After another disappointing tournament for England this summer, AJS Profiles are delighted to announce some good news on the football front.
PS Olympic Under 9’s have just won the prestigious Oldswinford football tournament. Wearing their fantastic new red kits, sponsored by AJS Profiles, they went unbeaten in the group stages and won the final 3-1. Well done to the boys, and keep up the good work.
Most steel profilers in the UK can cut 2 metre wide steel plates, fewer can cut 3 metre wide plate and not many steel profilers at all can cut wider than 3 metre. Here at AJS Profiles, we can cut up to 4 metres wide. The blank below is 3600mm diameter. If you require large steel profiles in 2-3 days, make AJS Profiles your first port of call.
The video below shows our new edge milling machine in action. This machine compliments our Lumsden Grinding service. Steel profiles can now be edge milled and ground top and bottom – saving our wonderful customers time and money!
We like thick steel at AJS Profiles. Our Beast machine can cut thicknesses above 700mm and the video below shows it cutting 500mm thick!!
Something you might not know is that AJS Profiles have a state of the art furnace which, after significant investment, now emails heat charts!!
If you require your steel profiles to be heat treated and want a heat chart, just ask and we will email you one!!
The 3 blanks in the first picture show the extents of what we can do here at AJS Profiles. The Big steel profiles are over 3 metres in diameter and the little blank sitting on top is 30mm diameter. AJS Profiles have the capability of cutting 4 metres wide and over 1 metre thick.
The second photo shows the sheer size of the large profiles – it also shows how much of a child Dave Chance is!!!!

AJS Profiles are the UK’s largest Lumsden Grinding provider. At the last count, we had 21 Lumsden Grinding machines!! Thats almost twice as many as any other competitor! The picture below shows two young AJS Profiles future employees standing on the 135 inch grinder – the biggest Lumsden Grinding machine in the world.
